Description of Services: Family-centered medical and surgical care for children and adolescents in Chatham-Kent aged 0 to 18 years

Specially trained Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses (all registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario) work in conjunction with family doctors, paediatricians or other specialists to care for children with one-to-one and team nursing

Private, semi-private, and ward accommodation is provided, including the provision for close observation, isolation and general care as well as in-patient and out-patient medical and surgical cases

If a child is scheduled for an upcoming surgical procedure either as an in-patient or day care patient, will be asked to attend the pre-surgical screening clinic
