Program: Bed-based Withdrawal Management Services - Leamington

Description of Services: This 22 bed-based program serves individuals in Windsor-Essex and beyond who require 24 hour monitoring of their withdrawal symptoms and/or a structured, safe environment to stop using substances, including alcohol.

Our care encompasses and supports an individual’s physical, psycho-educational, financial, housing, spiritual, emotional and social needs to address positive lifestyle changes. Services are provided by an interdisciplinary clinical care team including addiction physicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social worker and addiction support worker staff.

Fees: WMS at HDGH are funded by the Ministry of Health. Services are provided at no cost to you upon presentation of a valid OHIP card.
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Men and women aged 16 years and older with substance and alcohol related issues
Application: Call * accepts referrals
All medications must be turned-in to staff at admission * clients must continue to take prescribed medications as directed by physician
