Emergency room care * doctors, nurses, and other health professionals assess and treat life-threatening injuries and severe illness Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre - Specialized emergency room care and confidential follow-up support for people who have been abused by an intimate partner, or have experienced sexual assault Dementia Resource Education Advocacy Mentorship (DREAM) Team: has been implemented in CKHA’s Emergency Department with the goal to assist dementia patients and their caregivers with early intervention, information and assistance in order to keep dementia patients out of emergency rooms and avoid lengthy hospital stays. |
